🚀 Your Mission as a CFO!

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Ancient Gaming, you'll be the financial mastermind of our gaming empire. You'll oversee and strategize financial operations across all entities, ensuring stability and growth. Your responsibilities will include financial planning, budgeting, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Collaborating closely with other senior leaders, you'll drive financial decisions that propel Ancient Gaming to new heights in the dynamic gaming industry.

What You'll Be Doing:

Corporate Structuring & Taxation

• Corporate Restructuring: Lead restructuring efforts with the Legal team to optimise financial performance for the wider group.
• Tax Efficiency Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimise tax efficiency across all business entities and jurisdictions.

Financial Oversight & Control

• Financial Controller Responsibilities: Oversee all financial activities, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
• Audit Management: Ensure all financial audits are current and compliant with local and international standards.
• Treasury Management: Manage cash reserves efficiently to maximise returns and implement cost control measures.
• Risk Management: Evaluate and mitigate financial risks to ensure the company’s stability and sustainability.
• Investment Analysis: Monitor viable acquisition targets and present M&A opportunities to the Executive team.

Strategic Leadership & Advisory

• Strategic Financial Guidance: Advise the CEO and Executive team on strategic financial decisions, including corporate governance and long-term financial planning.
• Growth & Profitability: Drive the company’s growth with innovative financial strategies that enhance profitability and long-term success.

Operations

• Internal Finance Department: Set up and lead a finance department, transitioning external accounting functions in-house.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with the CEO, board, and executive team to set, present, and manage financial forecasts and budgets.
• Financial Reporting & Communication: Deliver clear, insightful financial reports to business partners, stakeholders, the board, and the CEO.
• Supplier Contract Oversight: Review current supplier contracts and implement standards for future agreements.

Payments

• E-payments: Oversee PSPs, e-wallets, and cryptocurrency solutions for efficient and secure transaction processing.
• Payment Reconciliation: Regularly monitor and reconcile payment transactions to prevent discrepancies.
• Fraud Prevention: Implement robust systems to detect and prevent fraud.
• Vendor Relationships: Manage relationships with PSPs, banks, and card networks, negotiating favourable terms.

You Will Thrive in This Role If You Are:

• Experienced with at least 3 years as a CFO.

• Familiar with reporting for various jurisdictions.

• Knowledgeable about digital ecommerce systems.

• Passionate and self-driven.

• Curious about the cutting edge of electronic money.

• Comfortable with fully remote work setups.

• A creative and out-of-the-box thinker.

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

• An excellent communicator.

It Will Be Good If You Have:

• Experience with company setup and management in Gibraltar, Malta, Cyprus, Isle of Man, and Curacao.

• M&A experience

• Recent experience in iGaming.

• Experienced with crypto transactions.
