🚀 Your mission as the Director of Business Intelligence!

As the Director of Business Intelligence, you will be responsible for defining the strategy and managing the implementation of the company's data analytics and business intelligence functions. This role focuses on leveraging data to drive business insights, inform decision-making, and enhance operational efficiencies. You will lead a team of data analysts, data scientists, and BI specialists to ensure the organization maximizes the value of its data assets.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

• Developing and executing the data and business intelligence strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Promoting data-driven decision-making across the organization by providing strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.

Team Management

• Building, leading, and mentoring a high-performing team of data analysts, data scientists, and BI specialists.
• Fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on continuous improvement and professional development.

Data Management and Governance

• Overseeing the collection, storage, management, and analysis of data across the organization.
• Implementing and enforcing data governance policies to ensure data accuracy, quality, privacy, and security.

Business Intelligence & Reporting

• Developing and maintaining robust BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations, to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
• Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of BI reports and insights to stakeholders.

Analytics and Insights

• Leading advanced analytics projects to uncover actionable insights and trends from complex data sets.
• Collaborating with various departments to identify key business questions and design appropriate analytical approaches to address them.

Technology & Tools

• Evaluating and implementing the latest data and BI tools and technologies to enhance the organization's analytical capabilities.
• Ensuring the BI infrastructure is scalable, efficient, and capable of supporting the growing data needs of the organization.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Serving as the primary liaison between the data/BI team and other business units to ensure alignment on data priorities and initiatives.
• Communicating complex data concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Performance Monitoring

• Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of data and BI initiatives.
• Reviewing and reporting on data and BI performance to senior management.

You will thrive in this role if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA will be considered as a plus.
• At least 7 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field of which at least 3 years are in leadership or management experience within a similar role.
• Proficiency in data management and BI tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance.
• Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of leveraging data to drive business outcomes. 
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to a non-technical audience.
